MOA TOPS CRAFT MEDAL HAUL AT AUSSIE BEER AWARDS…again

For the second year running, Moa Beer has chalked up the most medals won by a Kiwi craft brewery at the Australian International Beer Awards.

Facing competition from some the best brews from Australia and around the world, Moa Beer scooped 11 medals, six silver and five bronze to lead the Kiwi craft contingent.

“Looking at the company our medals are in gives us confidence that our beers are truly world class” says Moa Master Brewer David Nicholls.

“Silver for Moa Methode in the Bohemian Pilsner when the only other silvers were for Czech Republic beers -  likewise for Moa St Josephs and Moa Pale Ale. The latter placed alongside the likes of Green FlashLagunitasMikkellerRogueBallast PointBear RepublicDeschutesBoston Beer Co and Dogfish HeadThat’s what I call pissing with the big dogs.”
